^Stereotyping is normal. Everybody does it. What comes to mind
  when I say:
  "Catholic priest"
  "Texan"
  "Goatee"
  "Facelift"

  Notice how images and personality traits instantly come to mind.

  When talking to other people (other than yourself), ask
  yourself: How is that person likely to stereotype me? Know your
  stereotypes.

  I bet you can instantly make a list of how people are likely to
  stereotype you in a matter of seconds.

  Also know how you stereotype others. I stereotype Rottweilers
  because I had a bad encounter with one, once. It's not fair - I
  shouldn't do it but I do. I'm aware of it though and work on it.
