  and hate are such difficult things for some, easy for others.
  One of the hardest: "Why does somebody hate me?" Well, figuring
  out reasons (the why) is hard - what's even harder is stopping
  and thinking, "Wait, what if they *don't* hate me and just
  misunderstand me?" - that takes some of the emotional content
