Very interesting concept, although the death of the business
  card has been brought up for years now. Even in Pre-WWW days,
  when it was mostly USENET in the early 1990's, everybody had a
  .sig file, and many people declared "the death of the business
  card" (the death of voicemail, etc etc -- my favorite was
  "imminent death of the 'net" thread that lasted for a couple of
  years from '93-95 as the 'net got commercialized)."
