Exactly!  Wow!  I've been "searching for Church" for a few years now, and I'm landing (soon) in the Orthodox Church.  It feels right - it feels home.  Only gone to one Liturgy, done a bit of reading... but the convincing took very little time.  It's astounding - if I hadn't found the Orthodox Church - if I hadn't found my way home (I'm sitting on the front steps, about to knock the door) - I was going to do whatever it took to create a "Spiritual Retreat Center", with woods and trees and brooks and birds, and worship, and song, and prayer, and education of religious history.  And, yet, I stepped and worshipped in the Orthodox Church for the first time last Sunday, and it felt like I was inside of a spaceship that flew through a rip in the space-time continuum and landing in the place where the dead are alive, where the alive are alive, and where they worship and praise together... where God is everywhere and in everything and we are at his home, in Heaven.  I'm totally serious here... and I can't seem to ex
plain it to friends here at home.  But when I join, I hope to make new friends, and hope to keep the old ones, but I can see a change taking place within already...  it's so weird... I feel like I am home.
