I am writing to apologize, once again, for the delay in payment
  on my account. Since my last writing, I went back up to college
  (Box 279 Hampshire College, Amherst, MA 01002), for a period of
  three months, and have come home again. Since coming home to
  look for a job in December, I have been doing little odd jobs
  here and there... but STILL haven't found a job yet. I want to
  pay off this bill since MCI -did- give my surprisingly wonderful
  long-distance service, and I would like to be an active user of
  MCI once again. Thank You, once again, for your patience in the
  matter. I will send you what I can, when I can, but that will
