A buddy of mine had a copy and I WANTED to understand it.
Rafael. He was doing neural networking stuff ('91) and telling
me all about the limitations of NN yet how it has so much
potential... and was proudly showing off his code... and I was
like, "ugh it's C.. I don't read C..." (i can read C now,
although I still can't write in it)... I flipped through this
book - he's tell me how amazing it is and try to explain it to
me and I was just in awe, not making much sense of what he was
talking about. But it always intrigued me.
