I and I think all people maintain an absolute persona.  That is the
facade we are trying to present to the World.  We're not trying to hide
anything or create a false image, but instead we're trying to present the
best of ourselves tied to values, morals, ethics and heritage.
There is no negotiation.  If our absolute persona is compromised we are
humiliated, to a degree.  Most of the time the humiliation is not serious,
and we recover, but too often is destroyed and affects the persons self
worth.
It's difficult to define this persona that people put forward.  Whole
sciences and industries have evolved for treatment and definition.  But I
venture to say, that once this personal is compromised severely, the
individual looses much of their self worth.  It seems that there is a
falling off point where the persona that people have can be compromised to
the point of acting out ill behavior.
Civilized behavior seems to stem from respecting each others persona.
Unfortunately just as common, the goal of much of society seems to be to
bolster their own ego above others and tear down or disfigure other
persons persona.  This is a serious offense that manifests itself in all
parts of society.  Defining this conflict seems to be beyond the
capability of human kind and science and is impossible without moral and
ethical unity in the World.
