well, in indiana, in the wee hours of the morning, we used to play "the
walmart game."  in order to play the game, you need two teams of people and a
24 hour Walmart.

each team makes a list of 20 or so items for the other team to find at
walmart.  now these arent everyday items like pencils or paper towels.
here are some examples:

-something with the poem "footprints" printed on it
-a photo frame with a hispanis couple inside
-cheese flavored bait
-t-shirt printed with the words "monster truck"
-any item with a confederate flag on it
-a piece of corduroy clothing, size 24W
-a lisa frank unicorn folder
-bra (not white) with at least 3 rows of five or more hooks in the back
-plastic shooting target... non-mammal

you get the idea.

anyway, the teams exchange lists and set a minimum number of items to collect
in order to complete the game (e.g. must find 17 out of 20). the members of
each team must stay together at all times. teams report to a meeting point
upon completion.  first team to arrive wins.  then, if you are good players,
the teams swap carts and return everything.
