I have tried to connect my Palm Centro to a Nokia 770 via the
Bluetooth. It partially worked but there is no way to transfer files.
Logout adviced me to try the Apple PoweBook G4 with OS X. It was better
but I had issues with sending of files from the Centro. I will have to
investigate this because it should work.
I also tried my HP Touchpad (with the Android). It worked as expected -
I was able to send files in both ways (I have tried pictures from the
Centro and music from the tablet).
I also have tried the Ubuntu Touch tablet with the Bluetooth Transfer
application. It works, too.
It is good to know that I do not have to always carry the Palm
synchronization cable.
P.S. I finally have been using the Centro as my only free time phone. I
still have and use the Punkt MP01 as my main (and work) phone but I no
longer carry it with me during hiking and similar activities. So far it
seems to be a good decision. It's smaller (and much less precious) than
the Palm Tungsten W and it actually works (unlike my Palm Pixies or my
old Nokia) and it does not require to be recharged daily as the
OpenMoko (I still do have the working GTA-02 and the damaged GTA-04
one).
