Analog stuff in 2024
====================

Actually, nothing special  happened. I have got a new  leather case for
notebooks for work  and a new notebook with replaceable  inserts for my
traveling (it's  a 1/3 of width  of A4 format  so it is also  ideal for
folding of printed train tickets inside).

I also  have got a new  fountain pen (the Kaweco  Liliput) because it's
quite portable. I  have a converter for  it so I don't need  to use ink
cartridges in most of cases (the converter is actually somewhat big for
so small pen so it cannot be  filled completely with ink - but it seems
to be  sufficient for me).  A pen with  cartridges would be  better for
travelling by plane, I think. So I have 4 fountain pens for the moment.

I still have been using the Seiko 5 automatic wristwatch. It's original
band failed so I have swapped it for the one from one of my non-working
wristwatches.

There is no change in my film  camera stuff. I still have (and use) the
Minolta XD5 and  the Olympus [mju:]. Actually, the Olympus  is the most
used because  it's compact  size. I  only use the  Minolta when  I need
the zoom.
I also have the Smena 8M and  the Agfa Click. The Smena is quite modern
but (being a cheap camera for masses) produces images somewhat inferior
to the cameras mentioned above. It  has no rangefinder, too. I have and
external Smena rangefinder but it's hard to use with my bad eyes.
The Agfa is ever simpler (it's a 1950s camera but its technology little
changed from 1930s ones- the Smena is far, far superior to it) but it's
my only camera for  the 120 films. And it can make  great pictures it a
good film  is used. It  is also very  light if bulky  (it's all-plastic
with no sophisticated moving parts or other such things).

Well, bikes.  Some 4100 km  in 2024. Many  tyre/tube failures (I  had 1
puncture in almost 10  years but there were about 10  in 2024!), had an
accident (the driver didn't noticed me at  a crossing) with a car but I
also got many good rides in 2024 (the longest one was just under 140 km
anyway).  Interestingly, the  most of  mechanical failures  were on  my
wife's bikes (she does NOT ride as much I do) but she got no punctures.
I have built one bike from old parts just to damage it in that incident
with a car a few months later...

Interestingly, there was no one trip outside the country. Even in Covid
times there  were some  visits to  the Slovakia at  least. But  in 2024
there was nothing.
