MNT Reform: third round of impressions
======================================

Well, the SSD drive  died. I am not first with such  issues so it might
be just a bad serie of  drives. Maybe some sort of incompatibility with
the device. I have no idea.

So I have put inside a SSD  of different brand and re-installed the OS.
In process  I broke  something so  MNT deb  repositories are  no longer
accepted. I have to look at this issue.

The "new" problem is freezing of some Gtk apps. It seems that they fill
the RAM and then the system (at least the GUI) freezes. I might have to
enlarge the swap file and try to find the problem. Now I just don't run
Gtk apps (interestingly  the Firefox and the  Thunar seem to be  OK - I
thought they use the Gtk, too).

Aside of  that, I use the  Reform for many  tasks when I don't  want to
run  my POWER9  desktop (for  e-mail, gopher/www,  editing/reviewing of
documents and so). But not for actual computing so far.
