The update is here, it installs without issues and seems to work well
on both the Aqyaris E4.5 phone and the Aqyaris M10 tablet (both were
from the late BQ company).
So far so good. Actually, there were mostly bugfixes so the
installation package was tiny. But I don't thing I need more features.
I think that the fact that speed of devices is still the same is
equally important.
I don't know what to do when the new Ubuntu Touch (based on the Ubuntu
20.04) will be released to replace the current version. My devices will
not be supported (the E4.5 will be out of game for sure and the M10
probably, too).
In other news, I bought license for the Sailfish OS and a compatible
(NOS) prohe in Spring/Summer. But I still have not progressed from the
step 1 of the installation manual: "use the phone with the original OS
to test all of its functions". It turned out that there is a need for a
device to carry some Android apps required by some shops and other
services so it has been used as such since it was acquired (no SIM
inserted though). :-(
