Our home internet connection is dead again. This time it seems to be a
more serious issue: our provider was bought by an another company.
The problem is how they informed their clients: they just turned off
the connection and that was all. No information nor warning was given.
When we tried to contact them by phone then they informed us that they
they will renew the connection after we sign a new agreement.
This might be OK but they also informed us that our payment for 2022
will not be taken into account when signing the new agreement - it was
paid before companies merged and our original provider had financial
issues etc etc.
So I am searching for more reliable provider. It is not that easy as
need the provider must agree to use the existing infrastructure in the
house.
So I will be off-line for a longer period as I do not want to write
gopher posts from work and my back-up GPRS has quite low data limit
(which is going to be consumed by my wife for her work).
