Today I sort of repaired my old roadster bike. The single-speed
Czechoslovak bike made by the Velamos company in the second half of the
20th century. It is well used and I already replaced many parts.
The recent problem was the flat rear tyre. So I replaced the tube,
re-seated everything and gave it a ride.
But it was windy today. The side wind is not a problem, this heavy
machine with rather wide 29" wheels (40-635) is very stable, But the
headwind! I had to pull my bike to the hill as I was not able to climb
against this wind. Riding downhill was possible but not really easy...
