I have bought a new communication cable for my PSION Organiser II. It
seems to be a custom-made thing: it has very short elastic part and the
PC end is the 9-pin serial connector (usual cables have 25-pin ones).
It might be a small deal but it allow me to tidy my setup. Now I don't
need to use the 25-to-9 pint adaptor cable and the thing itself also
occupies much less space than the usual ComsLink (my USB-serial adaptor
is long enough).
I just have tested it by downloading a phlog post which I wrote on my
Organiser II some days ago (it is already published, by the way).
P.S. I still use the PSION DOS-based application (in the DOSbox) to
transfer files. Works great on the POWER9 Linux. The only place where I
am not able to make it work is the real PC with the original MS-DOS :-(
