PDP-11 once more
================

For the  first time I  have ran the UNIX  on the real  PDP-11 hardware.
Well, if was just a cut-down V6 UNIX (it has to fit in 800kB floppy) on
the Soviet UKNC computer.

I used the 2.11BSD on a shared PDP-11  in the past few year ago and ran
2.11BSD  on  an  emulator  but  using of  real  hardware  is  something
different, you know.  The OS is pretty limited (no  "cat", no "pwd", no
"who",  almost no  nothing)  and I  have some  issues  with my  monitor
(cannot see first 3  row of the display) so user  experience was not as
good  as I  expected.  Anyway, it  runs  and it  is not  as  slow as  I
expected.  I'm curious  if I  will be  able to  connect this  system to
something (there is a serial port called  "STYK S2" but I'm not sure if
it is  available in this UNIX  and its connector is  non-standard). I'm
even not sure how to mount another device (a free diskette) here.

Cool stuff anyway...
