Two weeks ago we broke our digital camera (a SONY DSLR A200) during a
trip. I have tried to repair it (it have seemed that just the LCD
screen is destroyed) but I was not successful. The device less or more
works but there is not possible to configure it and some minor
functions also seem to be unavailable or buggy. I counted the necessary
costs to repair the device and it seems to be cheaper to buy a new one.
We also have a lot of accessories for the camera (lens, batteries,
chargers, a case and so) so I finally decided to buy another one on an
auction server. It was declared to be a second-hand item but it was
cleaned and serviced by professionals.
It arrived yesterday and it works very well! It even seems that it can
made better pictures than the old one.
I plan to continue to use the old one in places with high risk of
damage. So no device is going to be wasted...
