Today my wife requested new keyboard. I thought that the Apple
white-transparent keyboard is too inferior to her IBM laptop keyboard.
Well, it is. So I have replaced it by spare HP one. A HP keyboard which
was a part of the PA-RISC Visualize workstation (the workstation itself
does not work, unfortunately). And she is happy with it.
Thus I has been able to return the Apple keyboard to proper use. It's a
keyboard for the iMac G5 after all! I had a newer (that flat and ugly
metal-white thing) here. So our living room is now decorated by a
complete example of the first iMac G5 (1.8GHz, 17" screen) with an
original keyboard, and original one-button mice and the iShark radio.
The only missing thing is the iSight camera but it is easily fixable
(it is still locate in our home office room as a decoration).
