There is the state of emergency here in the Czech Republic. The number
of cases is not that alarming (under 200 in total, some 8 in our
region) but the trends are. It seems that at least some people who
returned from Italy have tried to hide this fact in order to avoid
quarantine. When government closed universities then supermarkets and
shopping centers became full of people. Older people often unchanged
their habits and continued their daily visits to shopping parks and
centres. Well, most of these places are now closed.
Me and my wife have been trying to avoid contacts wit other people as
much as possible. No unnecessary shopping, no walking on streets and
so. We have home office for now.
We were out of the city yesterday. There were little people which has
nice. But when we returned (by car) to the city it was full of people.
We saw that parking lots around smaller shops and supermarkets are
still full. That's strange.
We did some works at home: sorted food reserves, removed all
unnecessary stuff from corridor of our flat, cleaned and disinfected
all what was possible. I decided to cease to carry my wristwatch for
now (or to carry a Kamerton 68 which can be easily replaced if it will
not survive cleaning), decided to leave the Palm at home, decided no to
carry my Punkt MP01 phone (I will use something less expensive for the
same reason as the Kamerton) and also to wear stuff selected by the
same criteria.
I am planning to go to work just for the emergency meeting (if it will
be announced) and stay in my home office for the rest of time. I have
enough work to do and I should be able to do most of things on my
Blackbird (for office stuff I also have the Thinkpad x260).
