Standing desk (4)
==================

I tried  to use second  LCD (also VP171s but  a newer one)  and another
DVI-HDMI adapter (this one I have used at home for years). The image is
still terribly green and on the second LCD it is also unstable.

So it  seems that  the ODROID  itselt is  the problem.  Something might
dying inside.  A partial solution can  be use of USB-VGA  adapter (it I
will find one - I should have at least two somewhere).

At the moment  I have replaced all  this stuff with the  BQ Aquaris M10
tablet on a stand. I have a HP bluetooth keyboard (a cheap laptop-style
thing, it  has normal  layout but  is is a  membrane keyboard)  and the
Lenovo  Bluetooth Laser  Mouse (an  excellent  mice except  it is  very
heavy). The tablet is an Ubuntu Edition one (the ubports [1] version
of Ubuntu is installed but they will abandon this device soon).

So my standing desk is now  very clean, simple and elegant (with almost
no  cables). But  it  is  too limited  in  its  functionality. No  Palm
connection,  only a  small  (10") screen,  terrible keyboard,  terrible
windows management crippled  OS (the Ubuntu Touch is de  facto an Unity
on Android, not a  real Ubuntu). I will have to set  op the LaTeX here,
at least.

Anyway, I'm now writing on that device.
