I'm trying to set up a standing desk in my office. I found a (less or
more) space, two older LCDs (the ViewSonic vp171s), then prepared the
keyboard and mouse.
There is one problem - due to space issues the LCD have to be rotated
to portrait position. I thought that it should be no issue for modern
computers.
Now I'm trying to set up a computer. I selected the ODROID-XU4 because
it's fast and small enough. But there are two unexpected problems:
* the LCD image cannot be easily rotated (at least in the Ubuntu),
* it has no WiFi.
The LCD issue is not a deal breaker. I can probably live with just one
vp171s. The inability to connect to the network is. I need to be able
to synchronise data and (which is more important) the ODROID has no
time keeping feature so I need the NTP. I probably have no current USB
WiFi stick. So I will probably have to find another device.
