Does anyone use (or used in the past) the Palm IIIc? I never saw one. I'm curious it it can serve me better than the black-and-white Palm III devices or than the Tungsten W?
I like the versatility and form factor ot the III ones (and I many
add-ons compatible with them: a GPS, keyboards, a PalmPix and so) but I
also like the Tungsten W screen (it is readable with backlight off and
it is readable on direct sunlight). How compares the Palm IIIc's screen
with the Tungsten W screen? Does anyone know?
The problem is that I use the Palm IIIxe for taking of pictures (with
the PalmPix) and for shoping. Its B/W screen is its weakest point in
bith cases: picture preview is very limited (I usually don't know on
what I pointed the camera until I open the pictures on my desktop) and
readability of ToDos in supermarkets (where light conditions are
usually bad) is also somewhat poor. It might help if I remove the aging
Felowess protector from the screen but I thing that it will help too
little.
The Tungsten W screen is good enouhg for these tasks but it can
accommodate the PalmPix camera (or any other existing add-on camera).
So I'm curious it the color screen of the IIIc may perform better in
these situations or not.
