RSS Feeds

I have observed that  on the Blackbird (i.e. on a  modern Linux) I have
collected more  RSS feed subscriptions  than that  I have had  on older
computers.

I have  been using the Snownews  RSS client [1] on  my SGI workstation.
There are  some issues  - it is  an old version  which does  not accept
https:// (only the  http://). So on my main computer  I have not follow
those modern people who ahve been  thinking that the https:// will save
the world.  Also the UTF8-encoded  feeds have  been out of  my interest
because the IRIX  cannot handle them (so the feeds  headers are hard to
read here and the program have rendering issues when it tries to handle
them). and,  of course,  as a  RSS reader it  does not  understand Atom
feeds.

On the PowerBook G4 I have been using the Vienna [2]. There are no such
limitations so  I have  had some  more feeds here.  But I'm  using this
computer only  sometimes. It's a nic  15" laptop after all  but I don't
feel well when I want to take such precious machine somewhere (it's the
last revision  of the PowerBook with  the fastest CPU and  RAM which is
not prone to the Spectre attacks).

On my new workstation I have installed the Liferea [3] RSS reader. It's
not as slick as the Vienna is but  it is very functional. In the past I
have some problems with  it but now is seems to work  as expected. So I
imported the feeds  from the Vienna and the Snownews  here. I also have
been  adding some  new  feeds (and  deleting these  which  are no  more
active) and  ended with a list  which his longer than  the previous two
combined.

I reviewed all the feeds and now I see no one which is not interesting.
I'm curious how it will develop.
