Gemini PDA: first impressions
=============================

My Gemini  PDA arrived  at Wednesday.  I first  searched for  the Power
button but then realized  that it is should be turned  on as any normal
PSION device (by the top left key on the keyboard).

The keyboard  is too soft for  my liking but it  is easy to uses  (I am
able to type with very good speed).

Screen is excellent (I mean clarity and brightness).

The integration of applications with keyboard is better than I thought.
The most  stupid thing that  I have found is  the fact that  one cannot
input anything into Chrome without  tapping on the address/search field
on the screen.

The AppBar (a  quick launch utility in  the form of icon  bar) is fully
controllable from keyboard which is nice.

The device is fast and snappy.

I  use  the   Termux  (which  came  pre-installed)  to   have  a  basic
command-line environment. There  is no integration with  GUI, of course
but it  still allows  me to  search the Gopher/WWW,  to edit  texts, to
remotely connects to  SDF or to compile  and run C programs.  I have to
try  I it  is possible  to  copy files  from/to outside  of the  Termux
directory.

I  am a  bit disappointed  because there  was actively  promoted Agenda
application which  was designed to  emulate the Agenda  application for
old  good PSIONs.  But it  is not  here  and I'm  not able  to find  it
anywhere.
