GPD Pocket Progress
===================

Well, what to say? It's a boring Ubuntu laptop, just a tiny one. And it just
works. I only cannot initialize the Bluetooth adapter but I actually don't need
it. Also the rotated screen during start-up and login is annoying but there is
no problem after login. There have been several system updates in few last
days. I thing that the fan is less loud now.

The keyboard use requires some attention as some keys have very non-traditional
positions. But is is still indefinitely better than any touchscreen. The
trackpoint is good (but not excellent) and it's place is probably not the best
(it has to be used in a different way than traditionally placed trackpoints on
normal laptops).

It seems to be nice for occasions when a full-featured laptop is required (with
UNIX tools, TeX, OpenGL, the applications like the gcc, the Octave or when USB
pheriperals have to be used) but when even the X-series ThinkPad is
unnecessarily big.

I will probably try to connect my Palm to this machine (via the USB-Serial
adapter) but I don't expect any problems as it's a common hardware with common
OS (Linux).
