This is just a quick update, but I've redone the comments section so that
it's /actually/ through Gopher! If SDF ever changes from Gophernicus it'll
probably break it, but for now I've got some bad boy CGIs set up with a nice
Python script running on the back end to process the comment queries and write
them out to a file! The old comments section was just a couple of PHP scripts
on my SDF website, and the shortened link I had kept breaking, so this is a
nice change.
I'm not sure if I'm able to make my own user daemons on
SDF to run without me starting them manually, so I guess if my tmux session
quits comments will stop working, but I think that should be fine. SDF's
currently on 92 days uptime, so hey, let it roll! I'm also MetaArpa, so that
probably /is/ something I could set up on the MetaArray if I really needed to.
Anyway, please feel free to leave a comment! I worked hard on it! I even
learned (FINALLY!) how to use Unix sockets!
