Woo! The Seattle Mechanical Keyboard Meetup is this weekend! I can't
wait to go with Rob. I'll be bringing my TI-99/4a (hopefully I can get
it fully working tomorrow when I take it apart in one final attempt to
fix the two columns of keys not responding) by replacing the two 10pf
capacitors that are responsible for debouncing and also grounding the
two columns in question. Fingers crossed and prayers needed! Let's go!

I've also got to go to Walmart and buy a decent suitcase. It kind of
sucks because that's like a good $50-60, but honestly I needed one
anyway. Especially considering I'm planning on going to Japan next
year. Up to this point I've been using two small decrepid blue suitcases
that my Pawpaw owned, and while they're fine for bringing some of my
clothes to college, they're honestly too small, and I'd also be afraid
of trying to bring them with me on an airplane.

I recently played the game Hacknet and booooooi it was fun! Yeah, it's
very simulation-feeling (porthack, really?), but it is fun and it does
get into some good depth. Labyrinths is also an invaluable part (so if
you get it, get Labryinths too, even if you get it afterward beating
it) that makes it that much more fun. There's so much exploration, and
it actually can get kind of intense. It's nice; I really enjoyed it. I
want another good game like it looool (that isn't just telehack).

Before I wrap this phost up, I'd just like to say thank you to all the
Gopher-ers that take the time to build good Gophermaps and make sure
that their content works on an 80x24 terminal. It makes for a good
gopherspace that people can actually enjoy. Sorry folks, but if your
content breaks at the end of every line and characters spill over and
things look a mess, I can't read your content without giving myself a
headache. And even if your phlog is good, if it's located in a text file
18 miles down the page, I'm probably not going to bother trying to find
it. I'm not that dedicated.

I took a big inspiration from snowdusk, who introduced me to Gopher,
when designing my gophermaps and setting up my content. I think there
are also other great examples out there like Tomasino or Cat or xmanmonk
or [going to stop here because there are so many that I *do* like]. I'm
basically just wanting to thank the people who really try and present
their content in the best way possible. It's wonderful for the community
and for the readers. It makes me excited to use Gopher - which is
defying all the rules of what should be thriving on the internet and
still going strong, years and years after any real update. Thank you for
being a part of what makes this community great. It's wonderful.

Anyway, that's enough of me being a sap. c:
Goodnight everyone! (or good morning, or good afternoon. This is the
INTERNET! brought to you by GOPHER)
