# [2020.12.02] Watching the Sea

I code most of these days. For my research, or for lab sessions which
I teach, helping my colleagues, training other skill on HackerRank
--- lots of code. Before the sunset, I jump in the tram and go to the
seashore. I only sit on the pebbles and listen to it, watch into it,
smell it, not even touching. It's beautiful. It was here before the
Romans who conquered this country. It was here before the Greeks who
gave a name of a goddess of victory to this city. Not always, no. It
was born one day, and one day it dies. Much, much later than me. How
irrelevant all that I cherish is to this magnificent body of salty
waters. And how beautiful and magnetic it is in my eyes nevertheless.
