Yesterday the president of our country told that it was time to
finish the self-isolation period, but I'm still working remotely till
the end of May. And it doesn't seem that Russia is approaching any
point of slowing the infection down.
I also talked on semigroups and listened to a Spanish guy who
described nearly the same approach to the problem as mine but from a
purely algebraic point of view. I was more inclined to use my
probabilistic squint, but the conclusions were practically the same.
And that was quite invigorating for me since that's the main point in
doing mathematics, to see one problem from very different angles.
