Today we had a meeting with our lab's curator. One of the projects on
which I spent several months of work was declared useless. In a mild
form, politically correct, but still. The project is closed with no
tangible result now. And I told my boss that it was just a waste of
time neither once nor twice. But afterwards, our boss footed the bill
for all the people who joined him. At least he is not a cruel
tyrant:)
