Just watched "On the Road"...First up, I am an avid Jack Kerouac
aficionado and a Beat Generation fanatic. I can quote Kerouac,
Ginsberg, Snyder and Cassady, so I did not come lightly to this
movie. Its co-starring Kristen Stewart didn't help either. But I am
surprised; it was not the vomit educing, boredom enhancing, moronic
Hollywood, money making scheme, spectacle I had expected, but a
decent enough rendition of the idea and some of the events
portrayed in the 1957 book.
