but seriously what the fuck is Swift? that shit is so
fucking stupid. i wanted to make a simple gopher client for
my iPhone and it's like writing legal documents for code,
and still coming up short. it's so goddamn complicated to do
simple shit. want some substrings? gotta use some shitty
subscript notation and USE FUCKING TYPED INDEXES - WHAT THE
FUCK! after getting a migraine, I ended up scrapping the
whole idea. fuck that noise.
once i calm down from this shitty experience, i'll most
likely write the client in obj-c - unless it proves a
shittier experience.
on another note, i feel less psychotic today. not sure if it
was the borderline hangover, or the exhaustion from lack of
sleep, but i feel better in general today.
tonight is pizza night with the kids. prolly gonna watch a
movie later.
