Why Gopher?
--------------------
Hint. It is not solely because of its beauty of plain text. Again this is
my brain dump, fresh and raw. No condiments and no garnishing. Sashimi
style of my mind.

After setting up my gopher hole, I was calm and still. I was staring at
the screen waiting for something to happen... it doesn't mooove?!

That's it! The screen is still and not moving! (dah!) My gopher hole does
not move down to be out of my sight, or wash away with comments and posts
from others in never ending stream of a timeline. My gopher hole stays on
the ground (eh, underground...).

This reminds me that I am addicted to social media.
Getting high from social media (centralized and decentralized alike) when:
- Releasing posts, and fishing likes and boosts.
- Receiving follow notiations.
- Experiencing grafitication from getting attention.

I feel less worth as a person if I don't get these while I know in my
heart this is not true. Isn't this common among people these days? Let me
know if I'm wrong.

What makes me attracts gopher hole is these:
- My place and my timing to release contents.
- It feel quiet, safe and private, no comments in my place. (The key is "
to feel private")
- I don't have to worry for others acknowledging me.
- Just I do what I want for my own sake.

In short, the very minimal feature does not distract me. It let me do what
I want to do. And most of all, it give me space to reflect myself.
