Starting on Act 2

I asked the Artisitic director to
step down of her role and to join
as assistant director. It will give
her more flexibility to work with the
actors and will give me more flexibility
on the art direction.

Although not a full cast, we had all the
body on the scene. It made it so
much easier to manage and visualize
how that will happens.

The actors are really polite
toward each others, and I want
to create this emotional dynamics
of a family who hate each others.

I asked Grete to tap into her
anger. She found a place she can
find that place of despair, mix
of love and hate.

Focusing on the discomfort of the play.

We decided to remove the couch
from the play and only use the bed
as the main prop for Gregor.
We need to build that bed, or find
a solid metal bed on wheels...

It seems like the transition from
Artistic director to assistant director
was the right choice. We both seemed
to have more freedom in this practice.

We still need an actor for the role of 'mind'
