Why is the world so tamed?

Why am I so tamed?

We're all so polite, drinking tea while the
ship is sinking. People are getting offended
if they hear someone swear, but would never
utter a word for climate change or the war.

Are we trapped? Are we scared? Or completely
and utterly brainwashed so deeply we really
can't tell what is real anymore? Poor people
can only survive, rich people dazed from
everything they can purchase, the rest is
hypnotized by media and tech.

I'm looking for words to express disbelief in
this system. I don't know how to say it, I
am afraid to be judged, while nobody cares
really. And it's not so much to be judged,
but to be misunderstood.

I feel like I'm in a dream, and I'm trying
to tell people, "Hey, we're in a dream" and
I get this "You sure you're ok gef?"

Sounds like I'm going crazy.

We have this massive polarisation, on one
extreme the conspiracies, deep state,
illuminati, flat earth, mother ship... On
the other end a full trust in the media and
politics of the world, complete obedience to
all the laws and regulation, no question asked,
give me my twinkies and Netflix.

But even if extremes, they are both part of
the same illusion. It feels like there is
no more counter-culture. It's been branded
and now you can purchase it. People complains
about the culture, so they get more likes and
followers. They are an integral part of the
machine. I mean you have some groups, like
extinction rebelion, with a very potent
activism. I would say they are counter culture...
But so very few, or maybe I'm just blinded by
everyone who wants to make a difference?

Consumerism is the opium of the people.

I'm not sure Consumerism is the right word
though. In a sense, we are consuming media
like never before, infinite amount of media
is created every second. So maybe this is
what is going on?

On one side we have our government. I don't
think our politician have anything to do with how
this world is shaped. Then you have capitalism
and everything that it entails. Corporation
always looking for more profits, ransacking
everything they can to keep the profit margin
going up. It's a sick, broken and outdated
system, but it's so fragile that any changes
to it would send the world into dark ages.

Consumerism is therefor an illness, a virus,
that is needed in order to keep the machine
running. Everything that is created, is created
for that purpose.

Ok so we're stuck in a system, that keeps us
consuming, until we die, since it needs us
to do so. If we stop consuming, the machine
with break. We won't go back to farm the land,
we'll be invaded by China or Russia.

All right, that sounds about right.

Now do we ride the dragon, and do what we need
to do? Or do we kill the dragon?

So what do we need? How can we make a change?

If you play in politics, you simply become part
of a show. If you play in capitalism, you get
sucked into infinite consumerism. So you you need
to be apolitical, and not within the capitalist
system, nor religion (but maybe spiritual?)
With some reach for people to be able to hear
you... Would you need that?

A small group, a collective, of awaken artists...
For what? To prepare for the end of the world?
And if you become anti-everything, you end
up really lonely, fighting a fight that no one
cares really.

And is it about fighting a fight? Or enjoying
the world as it is? Like a lot of people who
don't give a shit just do.

Should I just not give a shit, and really try to
enjoy my limited time on earth? What would I like
to change anyway? Make this world an utopia, where
we all work toward an common goal of happiness and
evolution? Break the system completely and hope
what will come out of the ashes will be a new
better world? I have no idea. The utopia seems
impossible to reach, while breaking the system
doesn't seems that hard. But will it have a
positive effect on the long run?

Every time I go through this process, I come
back to doing my work, minding my evolution
and hoping other will go on that path too.

There is nowhere to go, no one to be, just
this, just now.

It's painful how simple it is, and this is
why I feel so tamed. This middle path is
simple, but so hard at the same time. Not
from the effort to be in this state, but
from the effort to not get polarized and
justifying anger and violence... But at
the same time, it feels so numb...

Hopi Prophecy

You have been telling people that this is the
Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell
the people that this is the Hour.

And there are things to be considered…

Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?

Know your garden.
It is time to speak your truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for your leader.

Then he clasped his hands together, smiled,
and said, “This could be a good time! There is
a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and
swift that there are those who will be afraid.
They will try to hold on to the shore. They will
feel they are being torn apart and will suffer
greatly. Know the river has its destination.
The elders say we must let go of the shore,
push off into the middle of the river, keep our
eyes open, and our heads above the water.

And I say, see who is in there with you and
celebrate. At this time in history, we are to
take nothing personally, least of all ourselves.
For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth
and journey come to a halt.

The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves!
Banish the word ’struggle’ from your attitude and your
vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred
manner and in celebration.

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.
