Last Saturday was
quite the full day.

I started early in
the morning with
some stretches and
Tai Chi to then head
to the gym where we
were to do our seasonal
Karate grading.

The students were
quite nervous and
two of them passed
with very low grade
while the rest were
all pretty good.

I offered 2 badges
for the students who
participated in the
competition from
last weekend, to
add some momentum
for the other students
to participate in
the next event.

I then had to rush
to the boat to go
to the other side
of the lake to see
my daugther's dance
performance.

It's the 14 year show
and I think I've seen
probably 8 or 9 of these
show. This year was not
that great. It's a end
of year show, so ALL the
students participate,
which really brings down
the quality of the show.

My daughter was also
annoyed by the skill
level this year. Some
past year, a core student
group would bring the
overall quality of the
show a lot higher. But
this year, due to the
popularity of the school,
there were a lot of
beginner.

All in all, it was
good. I didn't stay
for the second show
as I would have missed
my ferry back home.
I drove back, with a
bit of fomo, what will
I do at home anyway.

I called a good friend
of mine. His wife had
been coughing so badly
she broke a rib. I told
him they should go
to the hospital asap.

I ended up going
back home, planing
on maybe doing some LSD
the next day.
