At first I was turned off by yet another protocol..
Why would I do that? The web is big enough.
Then I found myself wasting time on all social network.
I started cutting down... facebook at first, instagram...
I tried mastodon, but the same waste of time occured.
4chan, reddit, news sites, youTube... all a waste of time..
So I stopped everything.
Maybe I'm wasting my time on gopher too... that's fine.
At least no one is trying to sell me something. At
least you get real humans sharing real stuff. And it's
all in text. So much better for my brain.
