Title: Left Social Media... Again...
Date: February 1, 2023

I tried. I tried to use social media again. Between twtxt and the Fediverse,
I thought I could find something I could enjoy using. But no. Twtxt is nice,
but there's no really easy filtration right now. And with the Twitter exodus,
the Fediverse has become Twitter 2.0 in all the worst ways.

I remember how so many people pushed for content warnings to be the norm,
especially when it came to political stuff. Now, newcomers see it as censorship
and push against it. They say they respect people's mental health, but very
clearly don't care at all. They care about pushing their agendas and ideologies
above all else. And many try to make it as difficult as possible to filter with
the built-in tools, so people *have* to see it.

My time with Covid proved how much happier I am without social media. I was
able to relax, and as a result of leaving, I'm feeling better again. I feel
better in general, but my mentality is especially brighter than it was.

Admittedly, writing about it is stressing me out a bit, so I'm leaving it off
here, and getting back to going through some code to understand it.
