So... Where have I been? Let me give you the bullet points.

> Mac Pro's GPU started dying. It's a PCIe v1 card, so expensive to replace.
> Had to decide between my Dell XPS 410, or my 2009 iMac. Went with the Dell.
> Having to get used to Windows again, and still trying to figure out a
 workflow to use in it.
> Installed Windows Vista to get rid of the notification hell I kept getting on
 Windows 7.
> Needed a mobile solution for working away from my desk, so I threw Windows
Vista on the Macbook as well.
> Lost several hours of work after the system went to sleep, but wouldn't wake
 properly.
> Discovered other various issues with Windows on my MacBook.
> Ordered a Dell Latitude E1505 off eBay, along with a fresh battery for it.

And that's where I'm at now.

Yeah, the Dell Latitude E1505 isn't the greatest. It was meant for XP, with a
Core Duo (x86) processor, stock loadout of 512MB of DDR2 SDRAM, and an Intel
IGP for video. However, it /is/ upgradable to a Core2Duo, and I'm looking at
getting a T7200 to throw into it once I can. Not only to make it x64, but to
be able to boost it to a full 4GB of memory.

I only need this thing for writing, watching videos, listening to music, and
maybe some light gaming (Age of Empires II, Star Trek: Birth of the Federation,
etc.), so those light specs won't hurt my feelings in the slightest. Plus, once
I get the Core2Duo in there, I might throw Linux onto it. With current trends,
trying to use Linux on an 32-bit platform wouldn't be easy (Ubuntu), so I won't
even bother with that yet.

At least it's not Windows 10.
