I've never had a consistently updated blog, phlog, or gemlog that has
kept going for more than a year... but I've had attempts at each of
those a number of times. Looking back, I was most successful
(unsuprisingly) in the lockdown times.

I'll try again, and am going for gopher. Will bring back some older
stuff, in text format, here too.

Plain text files and rsync are easy, no matter what computer I find
myself at. The big advantage of gopher is that I can play around with
hosting from old machines in future... without worrying about software
support for TLS, and dealing with encryption on weak hardware.
