Subject: Every Day Carry

I  was reading kvothe's latest post [1] in which he provides a list
of the items he carries every day.  I also find this topic very in-
teresting, so I'll share my list:

    *  A super-slim leather wallet.  It just holds some cards
    and acts as a billfold.

    * My Nexus 5X.  Key apps  include  Termux,  Tusky,  Turbo
    SFTP, PIA VPN, DuckDuckGo, Reddit, Bandcamp, Audible...

    *  My keys.  Just keys, no tools or trinkets.  Well, I do
    have a bikeshare fob.

To be honest, that's the core of it.  If I'm  feeling  adventurous,
I'll  bring  my  SOG  Aegis Mini folding knife.  I mostly use it to
open packages.  I also lug  a  Timbuk2  messenger  bag  around.   I
didn't  have  a  car for about 7 years, so this is where I keep all
the things that most people leave in their car.  Key  contents  in-
clude:

    * An umbrella.
    * My work laptop.
    * Some almonds.
    * A spare phone charger.
    * A couple Bic G2s.
    * A tub of Carmex lip balm.

I  also  saw  a  couple things on kvothe's list that I just have to
comment on.

    * Fiio X1.  I also have a Fiio DAP and really  enjoy  it!
    Most  of  my  music  collection is ripped from CDs that I
    purchased.

    * Shure SE215.  I also have and  love  these  headphones!
    They  keep noise out and the response curve is rolled-off
    on the top so they don't irritate me after listening  for
    a  while.   In my opinion, they are the best IEMs you can
    get for $100.

    * Pok3r mechanical keyboard.  I love plugging my 60% into
    my  phone.   It's  surprisingly easy to use my phone as a
    laptop substitute with a keyboard attached.  My Anker USB
    A to C cable was a great investment.
