The Year of the Passion
=======================

If you read a theory about which year Yeshua (Jesus) was crucified and
raised from the dead, then ensure that it passes the following six
 tests!

 1. Yeshua was crucified on a Wednesday which was 14 Nisan. We can
/rule out/ any years in which 14 Nisan was not a Wednesday.

 2. Yeshua was crucified by Pontius Pilate, so the year must have been
between 26 A.D. and 36 A.D., when Pilate was governor. Any theories
which do not fall within this range are /ruled out/.

 3. Luke says that Yeshua's baptism occurred in the fifteenth year of
Tiberius, which was 29 A.D. Any theory which gives 29 A.D. or
    earlier must be /ruled out/.

 4. Taking into account all the Passovers mentioned in John's Gospel
brings us past 31 A.D. Any theory which says 31 A.D. or earlier is
    /ruled out/.

 5. Luke's Gospel in chapter thirteen teaches that Yeshua's ministry
lasted four years, which brings us past 31 A.D. Any theory that
    says 31 A.D. or earlier is /ruled out/.

 6. The Daniel 9 prophecy, which is timed on /Sabbatical years/, also
brings us past 31 A.D. Therefore, any theory that says 31 A.D. or
    earlier is /ruled out/.

These requirements rule out /any/ theory which does not give a year
 between 32 A.D. and 36 A.D.!

In fact, these requirements pinpoint the year as A.D. 34.
