Virgin Earth Chellenge / Multidimensional Solution of Greening our Earth
Open letter, visible under dalkmann.sdf-eu.org/virgin-earth-challenge.html

Dear Mr. Branson, Dear Members of the Jury,

only a multidimensional solution of Greening our Earth can reach our aim.
Here my detailled desciption:

As a physician with scientific formation and special interest in sciences I
have been educated the best method is to prevent harmfull development,
i.e. to prevent emission of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases, and
to start positive developement. Moreon the solution has to avoid other negativ
sideeffects for anybody and whole mankind. This has to be the frame of all
further investigation and consideration.

For all I know there is only one economicly and ecologicly acceptable
method to suck carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere, the energeticly most
effektiv and ecologicly most acceptable method our
Majesty God Himself developed over millions of years:

The photosythesis of plants.

I will hinder nobody who is searching for a better solution, but with high
probability he will not find a better method, which is economicly and
ecologicly more acceptable and more fruitful for whole mankind,
if you use it in a good way.

My idea is very simple: Spread this method of photosynthesis by all means
over the whole earth:

1. Greening of earth by
1.1 Planting of trees and woods whereever possible
1.2 Greening of dry regions and deserts by
1.2.1 ecologicly acceptable watering and
1.2.2 cultivating of suitable plants and trees

2. Establishing of secure nuclear power stations in the deserts of our earth
2.1 for avoiding further emission of carbon dioxide and
2.2 for generating energy (electricity and carbon free fuel like hydrogen)
for watering and
2.3 for sea water desalting by using the rest heat of the power stations

3. Advancing of ecologic farming in the dry regions of our earth
3.1 for formation of workers and scientists for the projekt of greening
the dry regions and deserts and
3.2 for supply of the employees of the energy and water enterprises.

All this projekts could help especially the people of the poorer and less
developed regions of our earth. This is a kind of good developement help,
which benefits whole mankind and therefore is communicatable to everybody
to advance necessary cooperation and raise enough financial
resources.

With friendly regards

Dr. med. Bernhard Dalkmann
