Another day another phlog!

My experimentation with Lisp has somewhat waned as my life has gotten
a bit busy, and my exploration of Plan 9 is even more decrepit, but
that doesn't keep me from evangelizing at work and in my friend groups
(much to their chagrin).

I find most of my time spent now adays to be the appreciation of
life. I appreciate the friends I make and I appreciate the time it
takes to do some tasks and I appreciate you who reads this text!

Like a lot of things in life, you can always strive for better even if
the odds are stacked against you. I mean, look at Cuba afterall!
They're still kicking even with a decades old embargo. I keep striving
for better at my job, but my passions often conflict with the advisory
role that I have been forced to occupy. This can be extremely
aggravating and absolutely ruins my day when it happens. But learning
to let go is also a skill.

I sometimes relate to the climate scientists who have been sounding
the alarm for decades. Hey idiots! We need to do something else! But
all I hear are half measures. Such is life.

I hope this changes soon.
