I attempted to boot FreeBSD off of a flash drive today, but I ran into
a major issue where it would cycle through messages saying Port X
disappeared (uhub something or other). I would love to run FreeBSD
on my laptop, and this is the first step, but I feel that it might be
a steep hill to climb because my laptop might not be supported.
(thinking specifically of the wifi card, which supposedly has a
freshport, but it hasn't been touched in a year).

Anyway, hopefully can make some more progress and move away from the
ideosyncratic Linux.
