We discovered something in our trap today. It looks like a mouse. The weird thing is, though, we haven't even been baiting it for the last few days, and this seems pretty recent. Feel a little sorry for the poor thing. The trap was meant for the rats, we didn't even know we had mice.
I gave a bit of cheese to the ravens as a peace offering the other day, because they seemed annoyed that there was no longer any fresh peanut butter on the trap. Since then, they've been hanging around the place and looking in on us, cawing insistently. What do they think we are, bird-feeders or something?
Although...maybe, if they catch me while I'm sitting outside, perhaps they might get a little snack for dropping in to say hi.
