Seems like the willy wagtails are back with the cooler weather. They hadn't showed up much this summer when it had been especially hot. I wonder how far they tend to move? I'm glad to have them back, though. It's always a delight getting a visit from them.
We've got a large one that loves to announce his superiority over the birdbath, we've named him Borb. There are also two smaller ones that came to visit today. They seemed pretty at ease under our patio and perched on the backs of the chairs while looking in on us. We reckon they were the two babies from spring, their parents had left them under our patio while they went out to get food. They looked so cute and helpless...and left behind quite a bit of bird poop.
Back to work tomorrow, had anxiety dreams even for a job where I'm just going in to help out and have minimal responsibility. Eh well.
