My work organized an excursion to the ELETTRA Synchrotron facility
and FERMI Free Electron Laser. It was pretty amazing to see these
wonderful and fascinating machines up close!
Also, I could take my partner along so we could roam Trieste a bit
at night and have some nice Pizza. For dessert I had a pistaccio
cake which was amazing.
