it's been awhile. sadly, the new SDF netbsd upgrade has broken a
lot of my admittedly fragile perl scripts which I use to generate
a lot of my content on gopher.
it took awhile to locally source perl libraries to make it all work
but that was always pretty fragile especially since perl was
upgraded.
perhaps this is a sign to finally learn python...alas
