So I finally decided to go ahead and make my micro-phlog
a more fully fleshed phlog. I mentioned all the way in my
very first posts that I was undecided whether to keep a
micro-phlog with all my posts in one text file or to actually
break it up and link them in their own gophermap.

I eventually decided to break them up and create a phlog
gophermap because frankly my posts were becoming just a bit
too long.

I did briefly look at some already written software like burrow
to manage my phlog but to be honest it seemed kinda like overkill.
Primarily, I'm too lazy to think of titles for every phlog post
so I just use the date.

So I just wrote a custom script to generate all my gophermaps
for my main gopherhole as well as the phlog and the songlists
I have. Since I know perl the best, I just hacked something
together real quick to do the work.

I still have to create each phlog entry manually but that's not
that big of a deal. I was editing my old micro-phlog text file
manually as well and updating the timestamp on my main gophermap
manually too.

now everything is auto-generated with one perl script once i've
actually written my post. the script also does the chmod as
well which was pretty annoying to have to do manually.

anyways, that's it from me for today.
